What Kingsbridge Jazz Club had to say about Fret and Fiddle.

Tuesday 5th October:
When I gazed into my crystal ball it did not reveal what magic this small group would conjure up for all those who had remembered it was jazz night at the Fisherman's.
Even my old friend Horace Cope did not foresee that these stars of gypsy music would light up the evening with so much sparkle.
The whole evening seemed to rush to a conclusion far too quickly as the audience listened to jazz gypsy style in the true tradition of Django Rheinhart and the Hot Club de France. I believe that even Stephane Grappelli would have admired the young lady as she fiddled her way through a diverse programme of favourite jazz standards, genuine pulsating gypsy music and the odd classical theme, not forgetting the Jeeves and Wooster TV theme tune, all rendered in great style and ably supported by the other two male members of the trio.
It is not a thing that happens very often at the club, but the trio received wild applause and a standing ovation at the end of what had proved to be an evening to remember.
